Dodgers-Brewers set for NLCS rematch, White Sox-Guardians head to Game 5 & Albert Pujols joins

The National League Championship Series (NLCS) will feature a rematch between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers, with the Brewers aiming to avoid a repeat of last year’s sweep and secure their first World Series appearance since 1982. The Dodgers, meanwhile, face questions about consistency, particularly from Shohei Ohtani, while Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski is expected to play a pivotal role in closing the gap against their division rivals.

Meanwhile, the American League’s top story shifts to Game 5 of the ALDS, where the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians will battle for a spot in the ALCS against the Tampa Bay Rays. The series has been tightly contested, adding urgency to the final game.

In other news, future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols joined a Yahoo Sports podcast to discuss his aspirations of becoming a major league manager, his early insights on Junior Caminero’s potential, and his experiences working with Ohtani during the latter’s debut season.
