Raiders Week 5: Meet the Patriots

The Las Vegas Raiders will face their third straight road game in Week 5, traveling to Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots in a 10 a.m. PT matchup.

The Patriots enter the game with a 2-2 record, having secured a dramatic 29-26 victory over the previously unbeaten Buffalo Bills in their last outing. That win came despite the absence of key defensive players Christian Gonzalez and Christian Barmore, whose availability for Sunday’s game remains uncertain.

The last meeting between these two teams in Week 1 of last season was a wild card, with the Raiders pulling off a 20-13 upset under first-year head coach Pete Carroll. Since then, Carroll was dismissed after the season, while Mike Vrabel’s Patriots went on to win the Super Bowl and earn Coach of the Year honors—proving how little Week 1 can predict the rest of the year.
