Rahul, Jaiswal lead India A's Test preparations in NZ

India A is set to play a four-day match against New Zealand A starting this Saturday, providing essential red-ball practice for several senior team members. The squad, captained by Dhruv Jurel, includes KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal as they prepare for the upcoming World Test Championship series beginning November 19.

Rishabh Pant will miss the opening fixtures due to a side strain, with Kumar Kushagra stepping in as his replacement. Batting coach Sitanshu Kotak highlighted the significance of these unofficial Tests for both established players and those looking to break into the senior side.

The roster also features Devdutt Padikkal, Washington Sundar, Sai Sudharsan, Akash Deep, Anshul Kamboj, and Mukesh Kumar.
