Purdue endured a lopsided 49-10 defeat against third-ranked Notre Dame over the weekend at Ross-Ade Stadium. The Boilermakers struggled significantly on both sides of the ball, resulting in failing marks across nearly every positional unit and dropping their overall record to 1-3.
Quarterback Ryan Browne completed a high percentage of his attempts but managed only 111 yards through the air, while the rushing attack was entirely bottled up by the visiting defense. Despite a few bright spots on special teams, including a 47-yard field goal by Jacobo Echeverria Lozano and an exceptional 78-yard punt from Dylan Drennan, the program's coaching staff and overall execution drew heavy criticism following the blowout.
