Puma recently organized a grueling non-stop relay event known as the Puma 418, which challenged four teams of seven athletes to travel continuously from the brand's corporate base in Herzogenaurach all the way to Berlin. The grueling trek featured squads from Dryll, Another Cotton Lab, Running Society Germany, and a group of competitors returning from the brand's Project 3 initiative, with participants navigating the German countryside without sleep and managing their own changing routes on the fly.
Paul Freary participated as a member of Team Project 3 during the grueling journey.
The tournament served to launch the brand's new Nitro Lab pop-up situated at the thirty-nine kilometer mark of the upcoming marathon circuit, offering attendees gear customization, challenge events, and merchandise displays. Furthermore, the company has prepared a substantial contingent of over two hundred global competitors spanning nineteen nations for the main marathon, providing a cash incentive for any Project 3 runner who manages to lower their personal best finish time by three minutes or more.
