Puka Nacua injury update as Rams WR misses practice with hip issue

Los Angeles Rams pass catcher Puka Nacua is questionable for the upcoming Week 2 home contest against the New York Giants on Monday night. After taking part fully in Thursday's session, the fourth-year standout sat out drills on both Friday and Saturday due to a hip and groin ailment.

Head coach Sean McVay clarified that this latest physical setback is separate from the core muscle trouble the receiver encountered during August scrimmage sessions with the Dallas Cowboys.

Meanwhile, the winless Rams anticipate getting a major defensive boost for their primetime matchup. Veteran defensive lineman Aaron Donald, an eight-time All-Pro and three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year who ended a two-year hiatus from the sport by re-signing last month, announced his intention to take the field on Monday.
