Prop Van der Flier signs new Tigers contract

Leicester Tigers have secured the future of rising prop Archie van der Flier with a new contract extension. The 24-year-old, who joined the Premiership club from regional rivals Nottingham, has quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad, making his competitive debut for the Tigers in October 2023 and already featuring in 27 matches across all competitions.

His international experience includes a standout performance last season with England A against an Ireland XV, showcasing his potential at a higher level. Head coach Geoff Parling has praised van der Flier’s dedication and character, calling him an integral part of the team’s plans and highlighting his continuous improvement as a player.
