Pragyan Ojha gets interim chief selector role after Ajit Agarkar's exit, in line for full-time promotion: Report

Ajit Agarkar has departed from his role as chief selector after overseeing the squad selection for the upcoming home ODI series against the West Indies. In response, the BCCI has appointed Pragyan Ojha as the interim head of the four-member selection committee, with the former left-arm spinner positioned for a permanent promotion.

Meanwhile, head coach Gautam Gambhir held discussions with Ojha and fellow committee members Shiv Sundar Das, Ajay Ratra, and R P Singh at Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati ahead of the second match of the series.
