Poor Chelsea defending sees Hull remain unbeaten in Stamford Bridge draw

Hull preserved their undefeated record in the Premier League after securing a 2-2 result against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The hosts broke the deadlock seven minutes into the match through Morgan Rogers, who beat Konstantinos Tzolakis at his near post following a quick break from a Hull corner.

However, defensive lapses from Xabi Alonso's team quickly flipped the contest. Mohamed Belloumi leveled in the 28th minute after Jorrel Hato misjudged a bounce inside the box, and Belloumi struck again six minutes later when his effort deflected off Levi Colwill past Emi Martinez.

Martinez prevented Hull from extending their lead by denying Oli McBurnie from point-blank range after an initial spill, paving the way for Chelsea's response. Cole Palmer set up Joao Pedro to fire home an equalizer into the roof of the net in the 66th minute.

Despite late opportunities for both Rogers and substitute Mohamed-Ali Cho to grab a winner, Sergej Jakirovic's side held firm to claim a valuable away point.
