Poor Chelsea defending sees Hull extend unbeaten run

Hull preserved their undefeated record in the Premier League by securing a 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, punishing defensive errors by the hosts. Morgan Rogers initially opened the scoring for Xabi Alonso's side seven minutes in, finishing a swift break at Konstantinos Tzolakis's near post.

However, Hull turned the contest around when Jorrel Hato misjudged a bouncing ball inside his box, allowing Mohamed Belloumi to pounce for the leveller. Belloumi struck again shortly afterward via a deflection off Levi Colwill that wrong-footed Emi Martinez, briefly sending Sergej Jakirovic's squad to the division's summit.

Martinez redeemed himself from an earlier spilled shot by denying Oli McBurnie at point-blank range, which allowed Chelsea to draw level past the hour mark when Cole Palmer teed up Joao Pedro to fire into the upper netting. Late opportunities went begging at both ends as Rogers and Mohamed-Ali Cho hit efforts directly at the opposing goalkeepers, sealing a hard-earned point for the visitors.
