Pittsburgh Steelers fans have little faith in long-term future

Despite securing a recent 30-27 victory against Cincinnati and entering an upcoming clash with Cleveland as narrow 2.5-point favorites, Pittsburgh supporters display an overwhelmingly pessimistic outlook regarding the franchise's trajectory. A recent poll indicates that merely seven percent of respondents maintain trust in the organization's current direction, fueled by a prolonged nine-year stretch devoid of postseason success.

Front office decisions have done little to soothe anxieties, highlighted by the departure of cornerback Joey Porter Jr. to Dallas in exchange for draft selections in 2027 and 2028.

Compounding these defensive losses alongside ongoing injuries, the unit led by Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers continues to struggle offensively, converting third downs at a low rate and lacking a clear successor at quarterback.
