Pitt's Mason Heintschel Makes ACC History With Another Six-TD Game

During a dominant 59-0 victory over Bucknell, quarterback Mason Heintschel set a conference milestone by recording his second game of the season with six or more touchdown passes, achieving a feat matched in ACC history only by Deshaun Watson. Heintschel completed 29 of 37 pass attempts for 403 yards alongside three rushing carries for 33 yards before exiting in the third period.

His targets included Censere Lee with three touchdown receptions, Demetrice McCray with two, and Carson Kent with one.

The explosive offensive display pushed the Panthers to a 4-0 record ahead of an upcoming conference matchup against Virginia Tech. The team generated 766 total yards, highlighted by a school-record 574 passing yards and an ACC-tying mark of eight total passing touchdowns in a single contest.
