Pittsburgh utility standout Jared Triolo has secured yet another nod as a finalist for the National League Gold Glove award. Since the inception of this specific positional category in 2024, Triolo has made the finalist cut every single year, having captured the inaugural trophy during that first campaign.
During the 2026 schedule, he served as the defensive anchor for his club, logging significant innings at shortstop following an injury to rookie Konnor Griffin and contributing exceptional defensive run saved totals across multiple infield positions. In addition to Triolo, teammate Brandon Lowe earned finalist consideration for his defensive excellence at second base across the National League.
The upcoming awards cycle will also feature Mauricio Dubon and Ildemaro Vargas competing alongside Triolo for the utility distinction, with the official winners scheduled to be revealed on the first day of November.
