Pens Points: Lizotte suffers injury as Kindel nears return

The Pittsburgh Penguins recently dealt with several roster adjustments as forward Blake Lizotte was evaluated for a lower-body injury following his return in a dominant seven-goal victory against the Philadelphia Flyers. Meanwhile, teammate Ben Kindel progressed closer to his own potential return by practicing in a full-contact jersey.

In other team movements, Rutger McGroarty was reassigned to the American Hockey League affiliate in Wilkes-Barre and Scranton, while a makeshift line consisting of Filip Hallander, Ville Koivunen, and Hendrix Lapierre each scored a goal during the season opener. Off the ice, head coach Dan Muse and defenseman Erik Karlsson visited the Edgar Thomson Plant in Braddock to celebrate a new corporate partnership.
