Chad Laycock becomes first bowler to take five wickets in an over in South African T20 cricket

During a YesPlay Pro20 Cup match, Kaneez Tuskers bowler Chad Laycock achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first player to secure five wickets in a single over within South African T20 cricket. Despite his impressive figures of six for 26, which included four consecutive dismissals, the Tuskers were unable to overcome the Momentum Multiply Titans, ultimately falling short by 21 runs.

The Titans reached a total of 204 all out, bolstered by strong performances from Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Sinethemba Qeshile, before Laycock dismantled the lower order in the penultimate over. In response, the Tuskers reached 183 for six, with Michael Erlank leading the scoring and Laycock contributing an unbeaten 31.
