Penn State Likely Saved Luke Fickell's Job in Loss to Wisconsin

Wisconsin secured a major football victory over Penn State over the weekend, a result some analysts believe may have prevented head coach Luke Fickell from losing his position. Following a difficult previous season that concluded with a 4-8 record, the Badgers improved their standing to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in Big Ten play, following a previous defeat against Notre Dame.

The outcome hinged on a late fourth-quarter collapse by Penn State and a strong closing performance by Wisconsin.
