Pecco Bagnaia: MotoGP riders not consulted on Phillip Island cancellation

Francesco Bagnaia confirmed that MotoGP competitors were not consulted by management regarding the decision to call off the Australian Grand Prix. Although the track surface was considered safe enough for racing, the event was scrapped because visibility issues prevented medical helicopters from operating.

Bagnaia expressed disappointment over the cancellation, noting that he would have preferred to compete despite the cold conditions. Local rider Senna Agius also voiced his frustration, highlighting the letdown for fans who missed out on the final race at the circuit.
