Patriots vs. Jaguars inactives: Defense down a second starter

The New England Patriots will miss safety Craig Woodson due to a shoulder injury for their upcoming Week 3 matchup, joining outside linebacker Dre’Mont Jones and rookie tight end Eli Raridon on the sidelines. With safety depth already impacted by an injured reserve designation for Dell Pettus, the defensive roster will rely on Kevin Byard, Jaylen Reed, and Mike Brown.

Healthy scratches Behren Morton, Dametrious Crownover, and Leonard Taylor III round out the inactive list for New England.

Across the field, the Jacksonville Jaguars will play without backup defensive tackle Albert Regis as he deals with an elbow issue. Five other players including C.J.

Williams, Daniel Faalele, Wesley Williams, Jack Kiser, and Jalen Huskey are also inactive for the contest. The game is scheduled for a 1 p.m.
