Panthers vs Lions: Storylines

Carolina prepares for a primetime contest against Detroit after suffering a recent defeat in Cleveland. The Lions present a formidable offensive challenge this season, averaging high marks across yards and points, which puts immense pressure on quarterback Bryce Young to keep his squad competitive without falling too far behind early.

On the defensive side, the Panthers face a major crisis in their secondary as cornerbacks Jaycee Horn and Mike Jackson are sidelined for approximately two months due to injuries picked up in their previous outing, forcing the coaching staff to heavily reshuffle personnel.
