Panthers vs Bears Game Review: Hasty generalizations
Bank of America Stadium hosted an unprecedented offensive slugfest on September 13, 2026, when the Chicago Bears defeated the Carolina Panthers 59-37 in their opening game. The high-scoring showdown marked the most point-heavy Week 1 contest recorded in NFL history.

Carolina quarterback Bryce Young delivered an impressive showing to keep his squad competitive, connecting with Jalen Coker for a third-quarter scoring play. Although the Panthers exhibited encouraging signs on offense, their defensive vulnerabilities sealed the lopsided outcome on their home field in Charlotte, North Carolina.
