Oregon State wideout Jesse Legree has secured his seventh consecutive Pac-12 Freshman of the Week award, marking an unprecedented start to his collegiate career. The receiver dominated in a 48-30 victory over Washington State, recording 108 yards and two scores on eight receptions, including a 90-yard touchdown play.
With 1,040 total yards and 14 touchdowns through seven games, Legree is the first player in the nation to cross the 1,000-yard threshold this year. His statistical production places him alongside historical standouts like Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Crabtree, and Justin Blackmon as one of the few players this century to reach these benchmarks so early in a season.
Legree is now a recognized contender for the Heisman Trophy and will look to break the conference record for weekly honors when Oregon State faces Fresno State on October 31.
