Is Kyler Gordon the Chicago Bears’ Most Important Defender?

Kyler Gordon’s breakout season has raised questions about his role on the Chicago Bears’ defense, especially after his standout performance in a 31–23 victory over the Atlanta Falcons. The Bears’ offense received a boost from quarterback Caleb Williams, but Gordon’s impact on the defensive side was equally notable, including a game-sealing fumble forced in the third quarter.

His emergence comes after a limited 2025 campaign, when he played just five games—four of which the Bears won, including a near-playoff upset against the Rams. With Williams now leading the offense, Gordon’s contributions could be the key to sustaining the Bears’ momentum as they push deeper into the postseason.
