Oregon Stars Send Prayers to Dante Moore After QB Gives Injury Update

Oregon signal-caller Dante Moore shared an encouraging social media message on Monday following a frightening collision during the team's matchup against USC. After absorbing a hard tackle while sliding on a run over the weekend, the quarterback was taken off the field and sent to a local facility for precautionary checks, though subsequent CT and MRI evaluations revealed clean results without extra damage.

Head coach Dan Lanning noted the program would proceed with extreme caution regarding his recovery timeline. Prior to the incident, Moore had compiled 926 passing yards and nine scores without an interception across four contests.

The defensive player responsible for the hit, linebacker Desman Stephens II, received an immediate disqualification for targeting and was subsequently suspended for one game by his squad after celebrating near the sideline while the injured player remained on the ground. Teammate Evan Stewart was among those voicing encouragement in the replies to the post.
