Olivia Miles Gets Rude Awakening in Lynx Playoff Collapse

Rookie star Olivia Miles endured a tough introduction to the postseason as the Minnesota Lynx suffered a two-game sweep by the New York Liberty. After securing the top record during the regular season, Minnesota fell short in the playoffs, with Miles relegated to the bench in the second half of Game 2 after posting just 16 points, 2 assists, and 20 percent shooting across the series.

Coach Cheryl Reeve acknowledged that the squad may have overachieved in regular play and lacked the right composition for a deep playoff run, while impending free agency for Napheesa Collier looms as a major offseason storyline. On the other side, the Liberty capitalized on strategic workload management for Breanna Stewart and the return of Leonie Fiebich from injury to position themselves as championship contenders.
