Oklahoma State-Iowa State Game Gets Prime-Time TV Window for Halloween

October 19, 2026

Follow

The Oklahoma State Cowboys will face the Iowa State Cyclones in a Halloween showdown on October 31, with the game set for a prime-time 6 p.m. ET slot on FS1.

This marks the third consecutive prime-time matchup for Oklahoma State since their bye week, following a 35-32 loss to Houston and a 6 p.m. kickoff against Colorado on Saturday, also on FS1.

The Cowboys, currently at 4-2 overall and 2-1 in Big 12 play, recently dropped out of both the AP and USA Today Top 25 rankings after their loss to Houston, where they led briefly but fell short despite scoring on four of their final five possessions. Iowa State, meanwhile, sits idle after missing Week 7 action, while Kansas State secured its 18th consecutive win over Kansas in their absence.

Oklahoma State’s path to the Big 12 Championship remains challenging, as three teams—BYU, Texas Tech, and Utah—enter Week 9 undefeated, with BYU’s victory over Notre Dame and Utah’s win over Colorado highlighting their dominance. The Cowboys’ next three opponents—Colorado, Iowa State, and Kansas State—are all unranked, but their upcoming matchup with Texas Tech on November 14 could be pivotal in their title aspirations.
