Norris beats Antonelli by a thousandth of a second in final practice | Formula 1

Lando Norris secured the top spot during the final practice session at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, edging out Andrea Kimi Antonelli by a mere 0.001 seconds. Charles Leclerc followed in third, while Oscar Piastri and Max Verstappen rounded out the top five.

Verstappen encountered difficulties during the run, including a trip off the track at turn four and reported issues with his brakes, ahead of his upcoming grid penalty for qualifying. Lewis Hamilton finished sixth, showing improved form after his earlier session was interrupted.

Further down the order, George Russell and Isack Hadjar were separated by a fraction of a second, while the Racing Bulls duo of Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad claimed the final spots in the top ten. Several drivers struggled to post representative times, with Sergio Perez sidelined due to a power unit change and Gabriel Bortoleto unable to complete a lap.
