Athletic apparel giant Nike revealed a special clothing line blending the University of Georgia brand with the legendary hip-hop duo Outkast, utilizing several members of the Bulldogs football team for promotional efforts through name, image, and likeness agreements. KJ Bolden, Ellis Robinson IV, Chris Cole, Talyn Taylor, Kaiden Prothro, and Elyiss Williams participated in a photography session held in Athens during the summer months to support the rollout.
The apparel line draws inspiration from André 3000 and Big Boi, incorporating a modified logo that pairs the traditional Georgia emblem with the musical group's iconic crown alongside text commemorating the release year of their breakthrough album.
The timing of the release coincides with the upcoming annual showdown between the Bulldogs and Florida, which has been relocated to Atlanta instead of its usual site in Jacksonville. Brand partners Class Trip collaborated on the design process, which will see items become available through online platforms and retail stores following an initial launch phase, as well as a dedicated merchandise stand set up near the playing field ahead of the weekend matchup.
