Illinois stuns Oregon as defense, rushing attack deliver signature win

Illinois secured a massive victory against Oregon on Saturday afternoon following a bye week. True freshman signal-caller Michael Clayton II and backup Dylan Raiola led their respective offenses, with the Ducks grabbing an early ten-point advantage.

Aiden Laughery turned the tide for the Illini with a seventy-five-yard rushing score in the second quarter. Clayton later connected with Christian Abney and Collin Dixon for touchdowns, while the defense added two sacks and seven tackles for loss to seal the upset.
