NFL power rankings Week 7: Do struggling Rams, Seahawks drop out of top 10?

The San Francisco 49ers clinched a 6‑0 start by edging Washington on Monday night, though wide receiver Mike Evans left the game early with an Achilles issue, prompting questions for general manager John Lynch about potential trade moves. Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs improved to 23‑5 in regular‑season games after a bye, while the Minnesota Vikings emerged from their own bye week to sit at 5‑0 and face a slate of opponents above .500, except the Falcons.

Chicago’s defense shone as rookie defensive back Kyler Gordon recorded three sacks and two forced fumbles in limited snaps, a rare feat for his position. Seattle’s quarterback Sam Darnold threw a career‑high 51 passes but the Seahawks still struggled, hoping injured backs Jadarian Price and Zach Charbonnet return.

Jacksonville’s Travis Hunter logged a season‑high 71 snaps in a loss, and New England’s A.J. Brown continued to drop passes amid injury concerns.

Buffalo’s Josh Allen kept the Bills rolling with a seventh straight win despite allowing 30‑plus points, while Carolina’s Bryce Young led the league in passing yards per game.
