NFL Power Rankings: Jayden Daniels’ injury sinks Washington Commanders

The Washington Commanders are currently struggling with a 1-3 record as they navigate a series of significant injuries. Marcus Mariota is expected to be sidelined after aggravating an MCL injury, while Jaylin Lane has been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Rookie Athan Kaliakmanis saw action in the recent London game, becoming the first rookie to record his inaugural NFL touchdown during an international contest. The team is looking toward the potential return of Jayden Daniels, Terry McLaurin, and Sam Cosmi to bolster the lineup.

Currently ranked as a bottom-eight team by the NFL Power Rankings consortium, Washington faces a critical stretch with upcoming division matchups against the New York Giants and a road game against the San Francisco 49ers. Head coach Dan Quinn faces mounting pressure as the team prepares for these pivotal games before their Week 7 bye.
