NFL news, live updates: Jackson Dart dazzles vs. Cowboys, Kyler Murray suffers concussion in Vikings debut

Jaxson Dart spearheaded an impressive New York Giants triumph over Dallas in Week 1, propelling his squad to victory at MetLife Stadium in head coach John Harbaugh's debut with the franchise. Dart proved virtually unstoppable against the Cowboys' struggling defense, completing 23 of his 29 throws for 230 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions, while also scrambling 11 times to add 54 rushing yards.

The division battle concluded in favor of New York—with reports listing the final score at either 28-20 or 28-21—spoiling the opener for Dallas under Brian Schottenheimer.

Elsewhere around the league, Minnesota quarterback Kyler Murray sustained a concussion on a distressing blow against the Green Bay Packers during his maiden outing for the Vikings. Sunday's opening slate also featured a historic three-touchdown performance by Derrick Henry, an Arizona Cardinals upset over the Los Angeles Chargers, a victory by Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills over Houston, and wins by both Chicago and Baltimore.
