New coach, new players, but same old failings hamper Scotland

Scotland experienced a disastrous start under their new leadership on Tuesday as a red card and defensive blunders led to a three-goal defeat against Switzerland. Defender Jack Hendry was dismissed early in the match after hauling down Dan Ndoye, allowing Ricardo Rodriguez to convert the ensuing free-kick past goalkeeper Angus Gunn.

Despite battling hard with players such as John McGinn and Oli McBurnie trying to turn the tide, the team extended their scoreless streak to four matches.
