Neville: Man Utd players downed tools and turned on Carrick

Following a damaging three-goal defeat on home soil, television pundit Gary Neville launched a fierce critique directed at the Manchester United squad. The heavy loss compounded a winless streak reaching eight consecutive fixtures across all competitions, placing tremendous pressure on head coach Michael Carrick.

Neville accused the players of abandoning their work ethic and turning against the manager, pointing to public dissent from club captain Bruno Fernandes and defender Lisandro Martinez as evidence of deeper friction behind closed doors.
