NBC schedules USC-Ohio State on Halloween for fifth-straight Trojans primetime game

NBC has locked in USC for a fifth consecutive primetime college football slot, this time scheduling the Trojans against Ohio State on Halloween night (Oct. 31) at 7:30 p.m.

ET. The matchup marks the first Big Ten showdown between the two programs and the first Buckeyes game on NBC this season, as the network capitalizes on USC’s availability—no Trojans home game can start at noon ET—and their current momentum.

The Trojans, now 6-1 and ranked No. 16 nationally, have dominated NBC’s lineup since their Sept.

26 loss to Oregon, following up with wins over Washington and Penn State. Meanwhile, Fox typically secures Ohio State’s home games, leaving NBC free to air the Buckeyes on the road.

With Oregon’s recent struggles and UCLA’s weaker upcoming schedule, USC remains NBC’s top primetime pick as the Trojans push toward a College Football Playoff push.
