Mourinho calls criticism of Mbappe 'ridiculous'

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has jumped to the defense of Kylian Mbappe, dismissing negative media attention regarding the player's recent off-pitch activities as entirely absurd. Mbappe had previously departed international duty following an injury sustained in a match against Turkey on September 25, subsequently appearing online through photographs taken at a Paris Fashion event and cycling in Switzerland.

Mourinho defended the forward's conduct during the break, explaining that the bicycle imagery simply showed standard amenities provided by his hotel. Meanwhile, Real Madrid currently sits six points adrift of the domestic league leaders Barcelona after seven completed fixtures, while the striker himself maintains strong recognition in upcoming Ballon d'Or discussions following a prolific campaign.
