MMBets: Bad vibes have the Detroit Pistons in a stranglehold

After capturing sixty victories and seizing the top seed in the Eastern Conference during the previous regular season, the Detroit Pistons faced postseason struggles, ultimately falling in six games to the Cleveland Cavaliers. Roster uncertainty has clouded the franchise during the offseason, highlighted by an unresolved long-term extension for Jalen Duren as the qualifying offer deadline approaches and his omission from the media day roster.

Meanwhile, the team added newcomers John Collins, Isaiah Joe, and rookie Ebuka Okorie while parting ways with Tobias Harris, Caris LeVert, and Isaiah Stewart. Star guard Cade Cunningham reached a personal best in assists earning All-NBA first team honors, and the front office will look to him alongside Ausar Thompson to anchor the squad through the upcoming 48.5-win projection.
