
The Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship returns to Trinity, Texas, this November, featuring 80 of the world’s top amateur golfers from 20 countries competing in an Olympic-style team event. Team USA will be led by returning captain Sam Saunders, who last represented the U.S.
at the tournament in 2005, with Alli Jarrett serving as an assistant. The roster includes four standout players ranked among the top 25 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings: Miles Russell, Ethan Fang, Farah O’Keefe, and Anna Davis.
O’Keefe, currently the world No. 1, dominated the 2026 NCAA individual championship and delivered a flawless 5-0 performance in Team USA’s Curtis Cup victory.
Russell, ranked sixth globally, became the first golfer to win both the U.S. Junior Amateur and Western Amateur in the same year, while Fang, at No.
11, claimed The Amateur Championship in 2025 and helped Oklahoma State win the NCAA men’s title. Davis, ranked 22nd, has a strong amateur résumé, including victories at the Augusta National Women’s Amateur and the Girls Junior PGA Championship.
