Mike Vrabel is proud of ex-Titan Cairo Santos, despite losing to him on Thursday night

Following a narrow defeat on Thursday, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel expressed admiration for Chicago kicker Cairo Santos. The two previously worked together in Tennessee during the 2019 season, a tenure that ended for Santos after he struggled in a Week 5 loss against Buffalo.

Since that departure, the kicker has established himself as a consistent performer for the Bears. During Thursday's matchup, Santos successfully converted a 58-yard attempt to secure the victory for Chicago, despite having missed a 53-yard try earlier in the contest.

Vrabel noted that while he certainly preferred the kick had missed, he remains impressed by the career trajectory Santos has maintained since their time together with the Titans.
