New England suffered a lopsided thirty-five to six defeat against Jacksonville after a disastrous performance featuring three turnovers by quarterback Drake Maye. The miscues included a bizarre uncontested fumble, a goal-line interception by Travis Hunter, and another pick returned by Jarrian Jones, allowing the opposing squad to comfortably pull away.

Following the blowout loss, head coach Mike Vrabel admitted to reporters that his anxiety regarding the state of the squad is extremely high as they look ahead.
