Former UFC fighter Mike Perry has officially stepped away from bare-knuckle boxing after a dominant run in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). Known for his undefeated record in six BKFC bouts—including a victory over former UFC champions Eddie Alvarez and Luke Rockhold to claim the promotion’s 'King of Violence' title—Perry has now shifted his focus back to mixed martial arts.
Speaking on *The Ariel Helwani Show*, Perry acknowledged his success in bare-knuckle combat but expressed readiness for a new challenge, stating he plans to remain in MMA for at least the next two years. His return to the sport began in May with a second-round TKO win over Nate Diaz at MVP’s debut MMA event on Netflix, followed by a short-notice bout against Brandon Jenkins in August.
Though he suffered a first-round stoppage loss due to a shoulder injury—a partial labral tear that dislocated mid-fight—Perry confirmed he’s already back in training and expects to compete again soon, this time with a more measured approach to his career.
