
Concluding their 2026 campaign, the Mets shifted right-hander Jonathan Pintaro onto the injured list due to sickness while bringing back left-handed pitcher Jefry Yan. Although Yan had been sent down just a day prior, he gets one final chance to pitch during the season-ending matchup in Washington, D.C.
Over the course of the campaign, Pintaro logged 30.2 major league frames featuring a 5.28 ERA and 5.12 FIP, alongside 40.1 innings with Triple-A Syracuse where he posted a 4.02 ERA and 3.76 FIP. Meanwhile, Yan recorded 20.1 innings at the big league level this year, maintaining a 4.87 ERA and 4.82 FIP.
