
Dover secured the Division I junior varsity state championship on Thursday, October 8, competing against a field of eighteen squads. Reid Philipps claimed the medalist honor by posting a 1-over-par round of 37 to pace the victorious group.
Dover finished the tournament at 18-over-par, securing a ten-stroke victory over both Pinkerton and Bedford.
Additional scoring contributions came from Michael Wagner and Landon Sanders, each turning in rounds of 41. Louis Murphy contributed a 43 to the team effort, while Jack Calhoun rounded out the performance by finishing with a 44.
Portsmouth followed in fourth place at 28-over-par, Exeter took sixth at 33-over-par, and Winnacunnet placed eighth with a 38-over-par total.
