Marvin Harrison Jr. has officially joined the Houston Texans after completing his physical examination on Monday, finalizing a trade that reunites him with his former Ohio State teammate, C.J.
Stroud. The Cardinals sent the fourth overall pick from the 2024 NFL Draft to Houston in exchange for a pair of future draft selections: a second-rounder and a seventh-rounder in 2027, along with a sixth-round pick from the same year that originally belonged to the San Francisco 49ers.
Harrison’s tenure in Arizona saw him play 33 games, accumulate 1,578 receiving yards, and score 13 touchdowns over 108 receptions, marking a productive but limited stretch before the move to Texas.
The trade solidifies Stroud’s offensive core as Harrison becomes the latest high-profile addition to the Texans’ roster, following his standout collegiate career. His arrival adds depth to a passing game that has already shown promise under Stroud’s leadership, setting the stage for a potential resurgence in Houston’s receiving corps next season.
