Martin admits MotoGP title 'already lost' after Sepang withdrawal

Jorge Martin has conceded that his championship hopes are effectively finished after an aborted comeback attempt at the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend. The Aprilia competitor attempted to ride only six days following a wrist fracture sustained in a sprint crash at Phillip Island, but had to pull out after Saturday morning practice due to excessive pain and a lack of braking strength.

Martin currently trails the standings leader by ten points and intends to travel to Qatar next week to attempt another appearance if his physical condition permits.
