Manager Enzo Maresca has announced his starting eleven as his squad prepares to face Nottingham Forest at The City Ground following consecutive league defeats against Brighton and Aston Villa. The visitors arrive missing Antoine Semenyo due to a knee issue, while Nico O'Reilly starts among the substitutes after missing out on international duty with England due to fitness concerns.
Maresca made three alterations from the team that defeated RB Leipzig 3-2, bringing in Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, and Jeremy Doku while dropping Matheus Nunes, Phil Foden, and O'Reilly to the bench.
The confirmed visiting lineup features Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal behind a defense containing Abdukodir Khusanov, Ruben Dias, Marc Guehi, and Josko Gvardiol. Midfield and attacking duties are filled by Elliot Anderson, Enzo Fernandez, Iliman Ndiaye, Rayan Cherki, Jeremy Doku, and Erling Haaland.
Available substitutes for the visitors include Rulli, Kovacic, Reis, Nunes, Bouaddi, O'Reilly, Allan, Foden, and Lewis.
