Longhorns Daily News: Texas LB Rasheem Biles is the Bednarik Award’s latest ‘National Player of the Week’

Texas linebacker Rasheem Biles earned the Bednarik Award National Player of the Week honor following a standout defensive showing against Mississippi State. During the 31-3 victory, Biles recorded eight tackles, four of which were for losses, along with three sacks and a pair of forced fumbles.

One of those forced fumbles resulted in a 61-yard touchdown return by teammate Maraad Watson. The Longhorns defense held their opponents to just 187 total yards throughout the contest.
