LIVE: Phils, Braves setting up dramatic finish to Game 2 (NBC, Peacock)

The Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves are locked in a tense battle during Game 2, trading runs early on. Bryce Harper opened the scoring for Philadelphia with a run-batted-in single off pitcher Tyler Mahle in the first inning.

Atlanta quickly answered in the bottom of the frame when Matt Olson drove in a run with a single against Cristopher Sánchez.

Pitcher Cristopher Sánchez later navigated a difficult situation in the fifth inning by escaping a jam against Drake Baldwin. Both teams continue to trade high-stakes moments as the matchup heads toward its latter stages.
