Listen: The Premiership is back - weekend preview

The Scottish Premiership resumes this weekend with Rangers eyeing a historic top spot after a remarkable turnaround under manager Derek McInnes. The Ibrox side face Kilmarnock in a match that could see them leapfrog Celtic at the summit, while new Dundee United boss Marink Reedijk makes his debut at Easter Road, tasked with reigniting a struggling side.

Meanwhile, Celtic travel to Motherwell in a crucial test for Martin O’Neill’s team, who have faced recent challenges on the road. Hearts and St Mirren kick off a vital run, while Aberdeen and St Johnstone meet in a clash where the Perth side could cause an upset.

Injury concerns at Dundee and the impact of the international break also feature prominently as teams look to build momentum ahead of a packed fixture list.
