Everton owners considering club sale

The Friedkin Group has announced that they are exploring a potential sale of Everton Football Club, stating that the current moment is appropriate for the organization's next phase. Led by American billionaire Dan Friedkin, the ownership consortium finalized their complete acquisition of the team in December 2024 following the departure of Farhad Moshiri.

According to the club's statement, current ownership will exclusively engage with prospective buyers whom they consider suitable custodians to advance the team and maintain ongoing momentum. When the group originally assumed control, they addressed severe financial instability and helped finalize the construction of the new venue at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Current club leadership has indicated that they will provide no further statements while evaluating potential interest.
