As the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers ramp up preparations for their upcoming Sunday night primetime showdown, Thursday brought a mixture of roster updates. Detroit welcomed the return of edge rusher DJ Wonnum to full participation after dealing with a back issue, providing a welcome lift to the pass rush following his multi-sack performance last week.
However, offensive lineman Ben Bartch remains sidelined due to a foot injury, and cornerback D.J. Reed participated in a limited capacity as he manages a rib problem.
Meanwhile, the Panthers are monitoring several health concerns ahead of the weekend contest. Wide receiver Xavier Legette and guard Damien Lewis missed practice entirely, while wide receiver Jalen Coker, tackle Monroe Freeling, and defensive tackle Lee Hunter were limited.
On the brighter side for Carolina, quarterback Bryce Young, running back Chuba Hubbard, tight end Darren Waller, edge rusher Princely Umanmielen, linebacker Devin Lloyd, and safety Nick Scott were all marked as full participants in Thursday's session.
